Just FYI, BBC News online are also good about correcting articles - their
newswatch facility almost in a sense allows moderated edits to articles by
readers. Certainly I've never had them *ignore* any contributions, though
they are dogmatic about some points (They refuse to see their biased use of
the term "Irish Republic" as unacceptable - it's not like Irish newswriters
use silly terms like British State for the United Kingdom).
Of course, some corrections should not have had to be made in the first
place.
