Heh. The mailing list was *started* because Wikipedia talk pages were
supposedly such a poor medium for discussion.

What "knee-jerk reactions" are you talking about?

It's not good practice to criticize others without making specific
reference to back up your criticism.

But noone can force you to engage your critics.
