What is "it" exactly? What is the proposal that is so demanding in
MySQL, and why is it so demanding? There would seem to be many ways of
reducing the complexity of the queries, such as forcing the unions to
be defined ahead of time and cached. That is, "American saxophonists"
would be a category created by someone that includes the tags
"American" and "saxophonist", but you couldn't just randomly query the
database for "American bananas that died of lung cancer in Futurama".
