[WikiEN-l] Copyright status of GPS coordinates

Hi all,
This site http://www.megalithic.co.uk/article.php?sid=9179 says "Do
not re-post this data on other web sites without permission of the
submitter." My question is, are GPS coords subject to copyright? Are
we not entitled to republish interesting coords on the basis that they
are "information" rather than an "expression"?

(relevant to [[Carnac stones]] btw)
