Obviously there is a limit to slick formulations.  But for me, the point is 
this: we give everyone a User Page (and that includes those who don't log 
in) to show that WP thinks that to participate in the _project_ is to belong 
to _it_; and not because WP thinks the _page_ belongs to _them_.  It's about 
recognition, not property.
