I'm not on the AC but I am on the list (and am a listadmin), and I
don't think I'm giving anything away by confirming that the matter has
been discussed afresh at great length. Not everyone agrees by a long
shot, but this is a really hard one and there's no way everyone would
be happy with any result. But then, that's why being on the AC is hard
work.

What tends to happen is a month or two of enthusiasm then burnout,
from dealing with wholesale quantities of the most corrosive
industrial-strength stupid to be found in wikidom. This is a tricky
one to try to work past ...
