It's also that using a given image is an all-or-nothing proposition,
whereas text is comparatively easy to rewrite.

And it's also a "my image not anyone else's" pissfight - "my
screenshot is a unique and beautiful snowflake and is much 'l33t3r
than yours!" and so forth.
