In my experience, one common use of VfU is for authors of deleted articles
to immediately try to get their article undeleted, even though the article
has been subjected to vigorous discussion and debate, and a clear consensus
of Wikipedia editors is that the article should be deleted *on policy
grounds* (e.g. consists solely of original research, is a neologism, etc.).
