The mailing list software has moderation functions that allow Jimbo (or
anyone else, like me who has the password) to:

A. Hold all posts for review
B. Hold a particular contributor's posts for review

Option A is used only in emergencies, such as a flame war (we haven't
had any of THOSE, I don't think.)

Option B is rarely used. Jimbo set the "moderation flag" for one user
this weekend who kept yelling in all caps.

But really the list has no Moderator. I'm the "Administrator", which
means I delete the spam every day (when I remember) and help anyone who
e-mails me with subscription problems.

(Oh, occasionally I've advised people to tone down their comments or
take a thread off-line, but I don't have the authority to make it stick.
This is a utopian anarchy, remember? ;-)
