Just to note, in my case, those accented characters showed up as the <A-with a tilde><odd symbol> form for me in any post from Dante, and Richard Grevers' reply that quoted tarquin's quote thereof... yet it showed fine in all others (including tarquin's). (I use OE 6, with security set to maximum and 'Read all messages as plain text' set.) --Jake
