[WikiEN-l] protection of pages

I understood sysops had the ability to protect pages
in case of an edit war. Apparently, it is not enough
to ask for the protection in the comment box. So I
suppose it has to be asked specifically somewhere.

Could I know *where* it is for the next time I am told
I am a vandal, a liar, a fool out of his mind and
unable to read english ?

And treated as if I were a man !!!

I could get to bed earlier that way :-)
