As River said in that e-mail, "when a project is ready, it will be
moved to the new server and an HTTP redirect (if applicable) added on
the old server."  The URL won't break, it will redirect to the correct
location.  With all these cookies we want to set for *.wikimedia.org
with SUL, having unapproved content on that domain isn't a good idea.
