Users rarely know or care about programming philosophies, so they'll
rarely address them specifically. Anyway, I'm not a fan of en.wiki
discussions but there are several comments e.g. at
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:VisualEditor/Default_State_RFC#Discussion>.
Rather than looking for fans or enemies of programming principles it's
probably more useful to see what strategies are being successful in
getting the communities adopt/partner with them, i.e. by voluntarily
opting in for an early deploy (as happened with CirrusSearch for instance).
