A patch like this to your repository allows you to trigger travis:

I think the missing piece from the CI team is to add the proper gerrit
remote in jenkins (https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/173045/ and
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/173046/2/bin/travis-set-env.sh ).
