Subject: Announcement: Elena Tonkovidova joins Wikimedia as a QA Tester
To: "Staff (All)" <wmfall at lists.wikimedia.org>
Hello all,
I’m really happy to announce that Elena Tonkovidova has joined the
Wikimedia Foundation to expand our expertise in QA.
Elena comes to us from Global Relay[0] where she focused on email
archiving and discovery (think: regulatory compliance) along with
database/backend automation testing.
Elena will be a part of the Release Engineering and QA team and
working in the San Francisco office. You’ll soon see her involved with
the Editing and Mobile teams initially.
A bit from Elena herself: “In my free time, I enjoy reading and
traveling - I have ever growing lists of books to read and places to
visit. As it's related to my passion to travel, I've been always
interested in learning languages - German, French, and Spanish. I've
been lucky to live in places with outstanding natural beauty -
California and British Columbia, so hiking is one of my favorite
activities.”
Please join me in welcoming Elena!
Greg
