I did the install myself, and no errors were showing. It was a fresh
install into a new folder, except the images folder (and DB from
backup). So all the extensions were from the 1.28 extensions folder.
Just to be sure I re-downloaded the latest WikiEditor and installed it.
I still have no edit toolbar.
Any other ideas?

Double check if your upgrade went ok. Often people
only update core, forgetting either to update extensions or skins, or something went wrong
during the upgrade and they just skipped over the error message.

I recently upgraded from v 1.24 to 1.28.0
The edit toolbar has disappeared (wikiedit not visual edit).
I have tried both
require_once( "$IP/extensions/WikiEditor/WikiEditor.php" ); //original
localsettings
wfLoadExtension ( 'WikiEditor' ); //as suggested on /Extension:WikiEditor
Is this intended? If not can anyone suggest a fix (I just want the standard toolbar
back).
Thanks in advance,
Bri
