I'm using mediawiki 1.26 with VisualEditor.
Upload files are enabled, but only by the link on left side "Upload files".
First, I would like to enable upload file directly on Visual Editor, like
mediawiki.org website has, you can see the screenshot of what I need here (

Second... in the same website I could see that drag and drop images
probably work, I would like to know how it works, because I had problems
before with images with equal names... where the new image replace the old
image and this can generate problems because images can have the same name
but with completely different purposes. This upload extension that enables
drag and drop are dealing with this kind of problem?
