MWSearch/lsearchd could not, no. But
Cirrus/Elasticsearch can and does.
Thanks Chad. We've been working on switching to CirrusSearch, but the switch has
proved to be nontrivial. Lucene gave great search results out of the box.
CirrusSearch's results, in our experience, are not as good out of the box, and
we've been tweaking it for months.
