It is not guaranteed to be static, but it has been the same IP address for 6 or more
years. The wiki is just for my personal use, so availability is not much of a concern.

Just a note of curiosity; Are you running this mediawiki on a machine
(i.e. your router) that is serviced by an ISP that uses DHCP protocol to
assign the router IP address. Or is your router assigned a static IP
address.
