Federico,

Hi, sorry for this late reply. Thanks for your patient answer, I really
appreciate it.

   1. I am using the default search function, which located on the top right
   2. I have not installed any search related extensions
   3. The key word searched is in Chinese, and I am sure this key word is
contained in some articles (in titles, content, etc.)
   4. Mysql is used for database

Thanks for the example your provide, which give me confidence to fix this
problem. Does Mediawiki support this search way natively or with the
powerful extension you mentioned, CirrusSearch?

I am trying to install the extension you suggest, CirrusSearch, and will
feedback later.

At the end of your email, "Translate" is mentioned, do you mean "translate"
extension, <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Translate>?

Thanks again, for your very friendly and patient email.

Best regards,

Grammy Jiang
