Does anyone have any hints/helps/tips/tricks/hacks, and especially "lessons learned" as we called it in the Navy, on installing Mediawiki on Windows Server 2008 (or whatever Microsoft is selling these days)? Kindly note that I want to avoid enabling IIS if at all possible.
