[Mediawiki-l] preload page with text, not an article?

I want to preload a page with a dynamic pre-filled template like so:
{{contained | Dynamic text here }}

But the preload parameter only seems to allow for a page, and I cant see how to dynamically change the page to do that either.
Any idea on how this could be done?

I am willing to write an extension if needed.
