[Mediawiki-l] multi site mediawiki configuration

Hello everybody,

I want to use multiple mediawiki on a server but wikipedia seems to be
made for only one installation per server.

I am using the Debian wikipedia package and I found a feature request
that is quite old:

I also found some hacking how-to for multi site configurations:

I am wondering if multi-site support will be a release goal soon? And
if I build hack the LocalSettings.php to point to the right settings
file and get it to work, how long will it work before it breaks? Will
multi-site be support in future releases?
