[Mediawiki-l] The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver

No, it doesn't mean you're supposed to create a directory
named public--we're too paranoid to output the real path,
but nobody's bothered fixing the message to say something
less cryptic. I notice images is owned by mex. Who does
apache run as?
