You just need to configure subpages in your wiki by adding a couple of
lines to LocalSettings.php:

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgNamespacesWithSubpages

e.g.

$wgNamespacesWithSubpages[NS_MAIN] = true;
$wgNamespacesWithSubpages[NS_TALK] = true;
