[Mediawiki-l] pb in installing 1.15.1 on my web space

Checked the requirements using phpinfo

PHP Version 5.2.6  instead of recommended 5.1
PCRE: ok
SPL: ok

Loaded all mediawiki 1.15.1 in /w/ dir using gftp
Set, by gftp, config dir to chmod 777
I have this result  http://www.opensurf.it/w

The /tmp dir is not in a correct place, because my user on the server
has not write permisison on the server.
I think $IP is the absolute path on the server, but someone told me is
written automatically.
I need an help because I really like to install on my server the
mediawiki, but I'm blocked.
