[Mediawiki-l] Downloading images with wikix software

I;m donwloading images with wikix software , but tha ammount of images data 
and the internet trafic is too high

i have configure $wgForeignFileRepos but the response of  the site is too 
slow
have someone make some change or methot in the code of wikix software to 
download only thumbnails??
 Some images has not download complete ( My imternet access is slow 
128.kbps)
I prefer download the thumbsnails to see more pretty my wiki(spanish and 
english), and retrict the full view of all images. this is possible ???
