There is certainly no guarantee of security. I don't know of any easy
ways round it, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. If there is no
need for other people to have any access to the site at all you can
improve security by adding passwords, etc. to your webserver so only
the people you want to access it can even get as far as MediaWiki.
