[Mediawiki-l] Content no longer visible

     Hello,

     A group of people and I recently started using Mediawiki for a large
set of study notes. We started with the standard installation, users began
creating content, etc. I then took my first stab at editing
localsettings.php to restrict user privileges. Ever since doing so, all of
the content that had been created is no longer visible.
     I have tried going back and commenting out the lines in
localsettings.php that I remember modifiying, but the content remains
invisible.
     Can anyone help? There is a large group of people who are ready to kill
me because they think I erased all of their content. I sincerely hope that
this is not the case!
