[Mediawiki-l] Sysop rights

When you are a sysop, do you see the "delete, "move" and "protect" tabs
at the top of a page?  If so then the system knows you are a sysop.
Does one tab say "protect" or "unprotect"?

What happens when you try to edit.  You hit the edit button and what
happens?

Member of groups:Users, Autoconfirmed users, Sysop , bureaucrat (User
group rights)

Whatever I try, I can't get my edit the pages a sysop is supposed to be
able to edit. ANYBODY has in ANY idea?
