I am not sure what you are trying to get at with other applications
running. I don't have any IDS on the machine, and I am assuming the
machine is behind a firewall, but the firewall is not running on that
machine.
I guess something I should have mentioned early was the entry in the
ipblocklist:
Replaced usernames with ***
20:01, 7 May 2008, *** (Talk) blocked #11 (expires 20:01, 8 May 2008)
(unblock) (Autoblocked because your IP address has been recently used by
"***". The reason given for ***'s block is: "*Inserting unwanted
changes*")
And user #11 is the same user that it claims recently used the ip address.

Some kind of IDS or application firewall?

Hi,
I am having a problem with a user getting
automatically blocked when
trying to edit a page. If I unblock them and they
try to edit the page
again, they get blocked again. This user can edit
other pages without
getting blocked. OpenProxy blocking is not enabled
and autoblocking is
not enabled on any of our valid blocked users. I am
running mediawiki
1.8.2. Anyone have any advice as to what may be
causing this?
Thanks,
