[Mediawiki-l] Searching for a portion of a word

I am having problems searching for a portion of a word in MediaWiki
1.11.0.

Using the MediaWiki search, if I look for the word "fellowship" on a
page, I get
> a return.  However, if I just look for part of the word, like
> "fellow", I don't get the
> result I want................
