Some form of shell access is required to run the
maintenance/generateSitemap.php script. If you are hosting your site on
your own computer just load up a terminal window or command prompt and
run the commands required. If you are using an external host then you
will need to see what sort of services they provide for doing this (many
provide shell access via SSH) and connect to it using either a SSH
client on your own computer (such as PuTTy or OpenSSH) or, if
applicable, a web or Java based one provided by your host.
