[Mediawiki-l] Changing page title and "About..." in footer

I changed the $wgSiteName from Islamintheus to "Islam in the US" and  
this does change the Page name in the browser, and "About..." in the  
footer.

But is this variable used anywhere else, and is it ok to have spaces  
in it?
Thanks for the tip, but did not want to mess anything up elsewhere.
