[Mediawiki-l] Strip wikimarkup from search results?

Is there something I can set to strip wiki markup from search  
results, or something equivalent to noinclude for the search  
results?  I'd like to suppress the first line in each of these matches:

http://ecoliwiki.net/colipedia/index.php/Special:Search? 
search=flgb&go=Go

This could have been avoided with more careful planning and template  
usage, but to retrofit, I'm looking at changing ~25000 pages.
