The three statements CURRENTxxx will be translated by Mediawiki, the 
above statement will become:

   {{Wikipedia:Today's featured article/September 7, 2007}}

The brackets then mean that MediaWiki should include the content of the 
article:
   [[Wikipedia:Today's featured article/September 7, 2007]]

Which is:
