[Mediawiki-l] Only article authors can edit their articles

Well, I need a combination of functionalities - somethings may/need to be edited by all, but some - only by the correspondent creators. 
Do you mean that the current MediaWiki doesn't support such a behavior?

It sounds like MediaWiki is the wrong tool for your purposes.
