No. Also, take into account that first 100 chars might not even make 
sense, or be a Infobox.
On Wikipedias it's done manually by pasting on a template the first lines.
You could border the first article lines with <onlyinclude> 
</onlyinclude> and transclude the article, but it's a bit intrusive.
