[Mediawiki-l] Merging two separate MediaWiki installations into one

Anyone have any ideas at all about how to accomplish this? Or is this 
topic verboten? :)

I am in the process of trying to wrangle our local Intranet wiki
projects into a single installation that hopefully can be completely
Interlinked. I have not been able to find any instructions or mention of
how best to accomplish this through Google or the list archives. Any
advice, pointers, or otherwise would be much appreciated.
