[Mediawiki-l] Change page content when edited

It sounds like you have some 'default text' that you are including in a
page. When the user edits you don't want them to be able to change that
text. Is this what you are talking about??
If yes then you could make your 'default text' a template which you then
would include like {{mytemplate}}. When the user sees the page they
will see {{mytemplate}} but not all the text associated with the
template.
