[Mediawiki-l] openshowcategory bug?

Further info:

When I was using a previous version of MediaWiki, I was able to 
create a category called Category:People.  That category still exists 
in 1.6.9.  If I go to Specialpages and click on Categories, it lists 
Category:People as having 5 links, but if I click on it, no entries 
are displayed.  It also seems that that I cannot create a NEW 
category -- that is when the error message appears.
