[Mediawiki-l] Transferring wiki to another machine?

* Make a database-dump (e.g. with mysqldumper)
* install DB and MW-Software on the new machine, change the login of DB and 
server-directorys in localsettings.php; dont forget to copy individuell skins 
and images-folders from your old server.

And keep your old machine running until new new works fine!
