I have one on OVH, and for the price (it starts at 1€/month for the 
shared hosting, the more expensive are bigger but not faster per se) I'm 
quite happy. The only thing I've been hammering them is the support of 
Subversion, so I could be back to svn co/update instead of ftp-ish.

But it's a western European one, might be too far away if you are from 
the US.
