[Mediawiki-l] Restricting width of uploaded images

Hi,

I'm just asking this again as there was no response.

Is there a way to restrict the width of an uploaded image? Or,  
alternately, when a user opens the image-upload screen, there's a  
message about the pixel width restriction.
