[Mediawiki-l] 1.9.1 upgrade halting at "Deleting old default messages"

It's been slow from the fore; it took ages for Brion and Niklas to do
the updates on various wikis and the i18n-wiki when it was rolled out.
It took a few minutes on the various machines I had to update...
