Is it possible with an older version of php or MW the error message
might mean upload size restriction? Check you PHP ini to see what the
upload size is set at. I had to change mine in order to load larger
files

It does not appear to be a permissions issue. After all, I am clearly
able
to upload small files (unless Linux has a permissions setting for file
write
size that I do not know about) -- and -- I am able to upload very large
files (so long as I tell it to ignore the warning)

My platform is:
Server Version: Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat)
Server Built: Aug 2 2006 05:21:10

its ok that all the file go in the same place....I just had to ask.
but please continue to consider what might be causing my PDF file upload

problem.

ongoing thanks,
