[Mediawiki-l] Using Wiki for Editing User-Generated-Texts

Hi,

 

www.metacafe.com <http://www.metacafe.com/>  is a web 2.0 service, offering
a host and distribution of videos, images and media files.

 

The Metacafe's database includes thousands of user-generated media files,
with a title and descriptions for each one. We think the Wiki based platform
is the best in order to let users edit and update these texts.

 

Nowadays, all texts are English, but using Wiki can be an easy method to
allow user-generated-translation of these texts, so that foreign language
speaker could use Metacafe's collection as well.

 

If anyone could help me understand the procedure of the integration with
MediaWiki, I would be grateful.
