[Mediawiki-l] migration from 1.6.7 to 1.7.1

Hello
J'm running mediawiki 1.6.7 installed from cvs with 
"svn co http://svn.wikimedia.org/svnroot/mediawiki/branches/REL1_6/phase3", 
and all my updates with "svn up". All work fine
Tonight my host is migrating from php4 to php5, so i would like to install the 
la test mediawiki 1.7.1
I don't realy understand realy out to switch from 1.6.7 to 1.7.1, the help on 
the mediawiki site isn't very clear, can you explain me how to migrate
