[Mediawiki-l] disabling editsection does not work (MW 1.71)

In Mediawiki 1.71 in LocalSettings.php i set

   $wgDefaultUserOptions['editsection'] = 0;

But anonymos users still see [edit].

I got it worked in an older mediawiki-version.
Are there still further things to do. Dit there change something in 
Mediawiki 1.71
