Why don't you just implement a convention that people's usernames ARE there
real names, e.g. "andrew.naismith" would be your userid.

Is there an easy way to force the use of a users "real name", instead of
their username in the history pages. The credit blocks seem to use the
real name if it's set.
We'd like to hide usernames completely...
